Who we are
Banks left. We stayed.
People Trust was founded on a simple belief: fair credit and a safe place for your money shouldn't end where the bank branches do.
In Arkansas, 9.7% of households have no bank account and 22.6% are underbanked. Payday lending is banned here, but banks have left many low-income neighborhoods, and credit deserts grew in their place.
Since 2016 we've lent to those communities as a Treasury-certified CDFI. Now we're adding accounts that hold US dollars and USDC, so members can save, send and spend at internet speed.
